How can I export reports to another program?

There are several reports that can be exported from NTS into a comma delimited file format (.csv file extension). The file can be saved as a CSV or a TXT file. The file can be easily opened in Microsoft Excel and most other spreadsheet programs. Here is a list of reports that can be exported.

  • Contributor Report
  • Contribution Totals Report
  • Contribution Detail Report
  • Deposit Slip *
  • Contribution Names List
  • Bank Transaction Report
  • Transaction Detail Report
  • Annual Report *
  • Periodic Financial Report *
  • Statement of Activities *
  • Departmental Report *

* - These reports do not have the option to select fields. Skip steps 2 and 3 on these reports.

To export a report:

  1. Click the Export button which can be found at the top of the report screen.
  2. Select the fields to be included in the export. In the options box, select or unselect fields by double clicking in the "Export?" column. The most common data columns or fields will automatically be selected. The items that are not selected will not provide useful data in most cases. To export the entire report as it appears on the screen, do not make any changes. See the illustration below.
  3. Click the Save to File button.
  4. Select the file destination and name in the file dialog box.
  5. Click Save.
