Error:  The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.

This error can appear when there is an error downloading the upgrade and usually indicates that the file did not download completely. The first thing to is simply delete the file and download it again.

  1. Delete any and all copies of the upgrade that were downloaded. Delete these files only and do not delete any other NTS files. Typically the name of the file will be NTS_Upgrade###. (The ### will be the version of the upgrade).
  2. Return to the upgrade page and download the file again.

If you get the error again, try rebooting the computer and then clearing your web browser's temporary internet files. The steps necessary to clear the temporary internet files will be based on which web browser you are using. Instructions for certain browsers are listed below.   1. Restart or reboot your computer.

Microsoft Edge

  1. In the upper right corner of the browser, click the three dot icon. The dots are in a line horizontally.
  2. Click Settings and then Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.
  3. Check the box for Cached data and files. All other boxes can be unchecked.
  4. Click Clear.
  5. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Google Chrome

  1. In the upper right corner of the browser, click the three dot icon. The dots in are in a line vertically.
  2. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data ....
  3. Choose the past day from the Obliterate the following items from: drop down list.
  4. Make sure the Cached images and files option is checked. All other items can be unchecked.
  5. Click Clear browsing data.
  6. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. In the upper right corner of the browser, click the menu icon (three bars) and then click Settings.
  2. On the left side bar, click Privacy.
  3. Under History, click the clear your recent history link.
  4. In the Time range to clear: box, choose Today.
  5. Check the box for Cache (all other boxes can be unchecked), and then click Clear now.
  6. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Please contact us using one of the methods below if these suggestions do not clear up the problem. You might not be able to download the upgrade if your internet connection is not fast enough to handle the size of the download. In this case, we can send the upgrade on CD.
