This error message indicates that the backup was made with an older version of NTS than what is currently installed. Backups made with the older versions of NTS will not work on newer versions of NTS. In order to restore data from the backup, the backup will need to be converted.
- Download and install the following program.
- Click the following link to download the conversion tool.
- Save the program to your computer.
- Open the program.
- Select the location of the backup by clicking the Select Backup button.
- Click the Convert Backup button. The program will convert the backup so it can be used in the new version of NTS. It will also search for additional backups and convert other backups in the same location.
- After the conversion is complete, return to the NTS Backup/Restore screen to restore the data.
If there is an error during the conversion process, a message will appear indicating a problem. A conversion complete message will appear if there are no errors.
